There are a lot of short projects with about 60-70% of projects being DDs or similar. The rest are a mix and include actual pure strategy pieces, however on the deals side, less pure strategy pieces are done as that's what the corporate Strategy& side do for 90% of their projects. Work life balance is generally quite good with an average finish of 7:30pm. Some bad days to early hours and some good days finishing at 5. The deals team spend most of the time in the PwC office while corporate team spend more time at client site. If youre into DDs, do join the Strategy& Deals team, or if you want to do more pure play strategy (think market entry, growth strategy, portfolio strategy etc), then join Strategy& Corporate.
