Aye if they do it’s money in my pockets, alas better AEs than I have tried and failed…. time to wait for all those VPs of marketing to retire LOL
Highly dependent… there are individuals who sell individual products (service cloud/rev cloud/slack), core AEs who basically project manage and bring in all those AEs necessary for a deal (ie bringing in a mulesoft/tab./service cloud AE when it makes sense to)… regarding verticals upmarket (Mid-market and above) is industry specific (manufacturing, HLS, FINS, High tech) but SMB/GRB is more diversified.

The structure is sooo different from product to product, it's really hard to figure out tbh. I think the workload is a lot more distributed than in other orgs when it comes to sales
