Yes - and I love it. Second bedroom fully repurposed to support physical fitness during COVID. Second bathroom is my spa (where I do candles, bubble bath etc.) Wouldn’t have it any other way. Cleaners come twice a month.
👍
House or apartment? I have a two bed on e barn apartment, so not as much to maintain and fill - but I love having my own bedroom area and an office. Before this was in a studio as I relocated from a higher col city during the pandemic. So was a big adjustment, and it admittedly took me like four months to actually furnish the office.
I’ve hired cleaners (weekly bc I just hate cleaning that much lol) and it’s been a game changer for my mental health.
Moving is stressful no matter what - so give it some time, I’m sure you’ll grow into it and enjoy the space!
I have a 3 br/1ba and love it. I need different spaces for different things, different energy. Even turned one of the bedrooms into my dream closet.
That said, it’s a lot to keep tidy, especially with a cat that leaves a trail of hair everywhere she goes. 🤷🏼♀️
Oh I have two of those hair and litter tracking cats! Hence the cleaning service
Yep and I love that now I have a dedicated office (incl the guest bath) and a clearer delineation btwn professional and personal
Also have cleaners 2x a month…I know my weaknesses
Do you think you bit off more than you can chew from a space perspective or financially? If space, you can set up a little home office snd maybe move clothes around, set up a little activities/workout room. If cost, consider renting out the room for additional income (if the apartment allows it if you’re in one)!

I do! I wouldn’t have enough space for all my stuff without it. Definitely takes a little more to clean, but I was in a one bedroom apartment before and I felt like I never had everything put away.
I stay in 2 bed 1 bath
1 bed is actual bed room
Other bed is office & yoga/workout(well at times i do move my ass) room. closet mostly used for pantry things & extra stuff.
Moved from 2b/2b condo into 2b/2b townhouse. Wouldn't consider smaller as have worked from home for years. Separation of work & home is invaluable.
