Could be rosacea
Dr Jart Cicapair tiger grass color correcting cream might be a product worth trying.
Maybe try reducing overall inflammation in your body with diet?
I agree with checking hormones and diet.
This used to be my skin! I have rosacea and lot of people with rosacea also have seb dermatitis too. I’d focus on gentle, hydrating skincare. I use a gentle face cleanser or noble zinc soap, aveeno calming serum, and dr jart ceramide moisturizer. I also use 10% azelaic acid every other night before moisturizer.
If it doesn’t make a different check with derm for a Rx topical
Did they tell you how to treat it? Seb derm is fungal, and is treated with things like ketoconazole (the active ingredient in dandruff shampoo).
Cool. Keep in mind, if it’s ketoconazole cream, that can be drying to skin so be sure to moisturize. If it’s irritating you, you can buffer it, where you apply moisturizer first, then apply the cream over it.
My mom gets this and I think it might be dehydration
Check out CAroline Hirons— blog, IG and she has a book. She is a no nonsense skin expert and has tons of info that cud help you. Her tips definitely improved my skin.
I use inkey list Oat cleanser + Facetheory 15% Azelaic acid for 1 month
It completely transformed my skin and helped build the barrier back!

I have my Esthetician's license and I'd say to wash your face with gentle, non-irritating products - I'd avoid drug store, as even the well known ones have ingredients that can be irritating. A French brand called Avene is affordable and focuses specifically on products for sensitive skin:

The bottom three on this screen specifically help with redness:

I hope this helps! Otherwise, I'd see about potentially getting a prescription (like hydrocortisone) from your Doc.
Krave Beauty - great barrier relief
I have rosacea and seb derm. The worst. If seb derm Head and shoulders makes a prescription strength shampoo that you could use to wash your face with. If rosacea you're going to have to get a different type of medication topical for that. There's not too much that you can take orally and changing diet really doesn't help too much.
Also seb derm is flaky... Kind of like dandruff but on your face. Mostly centered around your forehead eyebrows and sides of your nose
Rosacea is a common cause of facial redness and stinging sensation, but not usually flaking. On the other hand, seborrheic dermatitis can cause flaking in the classic T-zone region. “Hormonal issues” are not common causes. Consult your dermatologist for a proper assessment.
