Hi All! I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy.
I am hosting a free workshop for teachers that I thought might benefit you. The workshop is called From Unsettled to Prepared Classroom. I am giving you the tools you need to feel organized and ready for this upcoming school year. There is so much that is still uncertain and it can be super daunting to start to plan for a year like this one.

Accidentally called a guy that went to Brown “that Brown guy”. Room got awkwardly and uncomfortably quiet. I didn’t realize why until several FOREVER seconds later.
My previous neighbor was wheelchair bound. Elevator was broken early morning. I got out of my apartment and see neighbour silently cursing the elevator. I looked at him and the elevator and said "oh , I am gonna take the stairs" and left.
Took me about a week to realize how it must have looked from his side
Yiiiiikkkesss
We had a dinner planned with the client, but hadn't agreed on the venue.
The day of the dinner, client suggested a restaurant in the hotel they were staying in. I had been there before and it wasn't remarkable. Also, I had planned to take them out to a fancier place than that. In the spur of the moment, I said rather passionately, "Not that restaurant! The food isn't great and neither is the service".
Turns out that the restaurant had changed its theme since I was last there. It is now fully staffed by people with hearing and speech impairments and customers have to order food through hand gestures.
Ended up looking like a complete tool.
Omg!!! 🤣
Said very loudly "ugh, I can't stand Africa! No!" Just as a colleague from Nigeria walked by, then shook his head and walked off.
Context: this was at team kareoke night and I meant the Toto song, which another colleague really qanted to sing together (if you listen closely the words dont make sense, it gets stuck in my head for a week, and i can barely sing so sound like im a dying cat on the high notes).
Sorry bud. Stuck in my head now too 🤦🏻♀️
