Any suburban outdoor recommendations (e.g., forest preserves)? Need to find some light walking options for my parents. NW suburbs, but flexible!

Just went to Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve a couple weekends back and it was really nice for families. Crushed gravel, 9-mile loop

Big fan of the Buffalo Creek Forrest Preserve. I grew up near it and they just expanded it a ton. Parking, easy walking, and off 355/Lake Cook for easy access

like

Busse Woods is nice. They can choose a small loop and mix it up with another if they come back.

I second the waterfall glen suggestion! It’s easy walking and there are benches. Not many but there are some

Chicago botanical garden is reopening for reserved perimeter walks. Sold out quick though: https://www.chicagobotanic.org

I'm in my last semester of school. Over the summer, I had a portfolio review where the creative director recommended not to use fun or popular brands.

It made me wonder: What types of brands do creative directors want to see in portfolios? What have you not seen before?

Alternatively, what products and brands are you tired of seeing? For instance, my professors say condoms and hot sauce are a no.

2nd post on catching covid

I am lucky to have mild symptoms.

I do have 1 symptom which is troubling. I feel extreme anxiousness. I have trouble sitting still and trouble sleeping. I have trouble concentrating. The doctor says anxiety is a somewhat common symptom and that Cedars Sinai is studying the potential for long term impact.

Anyone else experience this? I have never felt this before. I have a huge new appreciation for those who suffer from anxiety on a regular basis in everyday life.
