Any success / inspiration around Intermittent Fasting ? I tried it seems like it works (not sure if it was placebo effect) but couldnt keep at it consistently 😐! Breakfast skipping seems a tough job😆

I’ve been doing 16:8 fairly consistently for about 10 months. Lost about 15 lbs but that was a combo of IF + eating healthier + working out. With IF, make sure you’re drinking enough water. Sometimes when we think we’re hungry, it’s actually just thirst. Note that we usually get water from all of our food + all water you drink and if you’re fasting, you need to compensate for the food you’re not eating. Hence the cravings. Try it, it’s a magical fix. Also just listen to your body - if you’re hungry on some days eat. If you can wait to hit your goal, continue fasting. Few other things to note: - IF is a lifestyle, it is not a magical quick fix to weight loss. If you lost weight in the first few days, it was likely water retention. - Re-feeding is as important as staying hydrated. Eat a balanced meal and ensure you hit all your macro nutrients. Don’t forget fiber! - At the end of the day, it’s calories in vs calories out. If you burn 1500 cal (metabolism + work outs in a day and end up eating a 2000 cal meal, well, you do the math. - IF really helped me not snack when I was bored/ stressed - Download Zero app. Very helpful to track your fasts. Got tons of tips and learnings too. Good luck!!

I don’t do it everyday, I try 1-2 a week - but I also exercise and still try to eat healthier. I usually do between 14-15 hours. Eat by 8, then skip breakfast and go straight to lunch around 12-1. I’ve lost about 4-5 lbs

I think I’m in the minority of intermittent fasters, but I skip dinner. My eating window on weekdays is 9am-3pm or 8am-2pm. I am an early bird and I workout in the mornings so i am always ready for breakfast! I eat a bigger lunch and a snack and I’m usually just fine to not eat any more.
