Cost - used a Groupon and went to a reputable place (they all have thousands of reviews). Maybe $150 for six sessions?
Pain - not painful at all. Maybe a light rubber band snapping
Effects - almost a decade later and still no hair from just six sessions. I didn’t start off too hairy (East Asian) but some of my hairier friends needed 12-15 sessions and still require touchups every few years
Thank you @D1! I appreciate it!
With your helpful information, I think I will just shave my legs in the summer using traditional trimmer.
Thank you again!
I had similar experience to D1. Also east Asian and paid about the same, 150ish for 6 sessions a few years ago. I went to Satori laser and it was like a rubber band pinch. Hairs came back after 3ish years but very sparse. I'd say it was def worth it.

Do what you want OP! Don’t feel the need to adjust to our customs. If you are trying to understand what’s customary, most women shave/wax/laser their legs here when showing them. I wear pants all the time but still did laser because I like it better that way, if I hadn’t I prob wouldn’t be shaving daily.
I've done it in Satori NY, it's never 100% so keep that in mind. I did the 6 sessions and stopped. The hair grew back but lighter and finer. If you've got really dark thick hair then you can give it a shot. Painful but manageable if you're someone who's been doing waxing.

Satori Laser is great in NYC. Not as painful as people think. Mind you, I’ve lasered my entire body so I guess I’ve built up a tolerance. But the armpit area is so small it’s all very quick.
