You’re not going to find a 1bd for $1.8k
Try the other side of midtown (home park, near ikea) you may get something below 2k
Couldn’t find a 1bd in midtown under 2300
77 12th & 60 11th are both great.
Definitely second this. But both are a bit pricy
I’m in a 1BR technically in west Midtown, rent is $1477, just renewed for ~$1630, you can definitely do it if you’re not insisting to be right in central midtown
Just checked and my renewal rate is $1470 from $1380😭 west midtown too but it could be worse
You’ll need a roommate to get in midtown for that amount - average 1BR is around 2500. There are some nice condos opening later this fall, maybe that will help lower prices but that’s iffy.
Check Zillow. I see over a dozen currently available @ <$1,800.
Thanks for the suggestion! I see a few on apartments.com as well but just wanted to get an idea of whether people had good experiences with any complexes in particular.
Have you looked at Camden Vantage, slightly outside of midtown? A few months back they were def in your price range. Wishing you luck, OP.
I’m priced out of Atlanta at this point & looking for a more affordable city and struggling to find one. 😞
Haven't heard of it, but thanks for the suggestion, will take a look! Sorry to hear that, I hope you find something as well. My second plan of attack if I don't find a place in the city is to live in the suburbs since I have a car.
Pro
Definitely recommend checking individual apartments for list instead of the "luxury apartments." It'll be a much better bang for your buck, and likely overall cheaper as well.
I rented from someone a few years ago in Midtown this way and I was paying $1200 for a 1/1 next to 10th and Piedmont. Best deal I ever got! Found the postings on Zillow and Apartments .com
I’m in west midtown and rent is $1380….I’m nervous about the renewal rate😂
