Need help, i have been actively apply for QA engineer, automation tester role on LinkedIn. But not getting any mails or calls for interview. Even getting mails like sorry unable to proceed with your application.
What to do? I have 1.7 years of experience
Just talked to a doordash recruiter for analytics manager role which requires 6+ years work experience. They offered 108k base and 107k equity over 4 years. So that ~130k and it’s much less than what I make. The LinkedIn link says the range in Colorado is 115k-149k base. I live in a big city in Pacific Northwest which is not Seattle. Am I being low balled?
Expecting an offer from Facebook for Privacy Program Manager.
What’s a good range for target comp? Recruiter said position starts at:
150K base/15%bonus/75K stock over 4 years/30K sign-on. Is this fair?
I was thinking:
220K Base/15-20%bonus/125K stock over 4 years/30K sign-on.
7-8 YOE in Security and Privacy with Big 4
Have another offer for 195K base/15%bonus/no equity (Consulting)/no sign on
Please share your thoughts and insights. Don’t wanna ask for too much and lose the offer.
Curious thoughts: What would you say puts the most pressure on insurance companies to settle cases? Upcoming trial, risk of bad faith exposure, a bad witness, a screw up pre-suit, etc?
I was recently invited to interview for a PM role in trust and safety for a tech company. My experience is in supply chain and I have no pm experience. Should I move forward with the interview?
Hi Ladies! How many rejections and jobs did you apply to before getting an interview? Trying to go from Insurance Sales to Tech Sales and have had two rejections so far. Also, any recommendations? Thanks

I'm currently looking for entry level opportunities in advisory. I'm fully licensed (SIE/7/63/65) and ready to start my CFP as soon as it's affordable or sponsored. I'm struggling to find opportunities that don't have a large emphasis on insurance sales. Anyone have any recommendations or opportunities?
Does anyone who worked at Wynshop/Mi9 Retail shed some light on what the interview process is like for a developer role? Also what is the salary?
Anyone have insights into working at Unqork (e.g., culture, team, work life balance, comp/if they typically give decent raises/bonus/equity awards)? Know they are actively hiring and would be curious to understand more about what it’s actually like working there vs what their recruiters will tell you?
how’s everyone feeling about this?
Quite miffed as I just got a small pay rise and now I think this plus the upcoming not rises in utilities and inflation will pretty much cancel it out.
This country is fucked lol
What's the deal with analyst and sr analyst roles? My company says it's the great resignation, but I'm really struggling hiring this level.
For those considering this role, what makes it appealing or not appealing?
I interviewed for a position at EY-Parthenon three weeks ago and haven't heard anything about the outcome since then. I wrote to HR last week seeking update but haven't heard back yet. How do I proceed? The interview was a 'first stage interview' with the director after completing the assessment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm having 6 yrs experience as Application Engineer -Mech. Since my wife's salary is comparably higher, planning a career break to take care of my kid and pursue supply chain management.

Ok now your dream company Google's parent company Alphabet will start layoffs for 10k employees. Remember - FAANG is a hype because of their performance in stock market and not for actual wlb and job security !

Please let me know if anyone else here faced any same kind of situation and how to tackle this ? Can they terminate the offer or they will accept ?

Hi! Check out this bowl!
This is so lame! Lol I am not sure how to add more women who are actually active. Are we really that boring and weak in this industry? Come on..
Financial Advisors & those in similar roles. What more would you like your registered assistants/associates to do to support your business?
Please feel free to invite others

I’m a client associate, I just changed companies and I’ve realized I probably made a mistake. I’ve been an associate for about 4 years, is there any other positions I would be qualified for? I feel like I want to do something different.
I am a registered client service associate with almost 10 years in the industry. I have my 7, 63, 65 and general lines insurance license. I live in Texas and was just offered a base salary of $70k at UBS. Is that a good offer or should I ask for more?
Currently in the Orlando, Florida market.
And in need of an assistant / sales director looking to work.
Do you or someone you know looking for new work?
Here's my two cents-know your value! You are different, you add a different perspective and you listen differently. Forget risk tolerance and time horizon-listen for the meaning of money... control, independence, survival, risk taking, achievement. You can glean the risk tolerance and time horizon stuff, but you distinguish yourself when you get to their relationship with money. This creates your connection with the client- you "get"them.
Looking for advice on exit opportunity - Master in Statistics, 2 YOE as Investment Analyst in Wealth Management. None of my friends/family is in finance, and I’m the first non-finance major being hired in the team. I like programming in R but it’s not doable in my current job, do 90% of work in Excel. I’m thinking more towards risk management / more quantitative roles. Thanks.
