You don’t need to manually remove them, it can cause more harm than good (bc we’re not experts). I recommend using a toner, serum or scrub that’s labelled as having a BHA or salicylic acid (they’re the same 😜 salicylic acid is a type of BHA). You don’t have to use it everyday, but try it at least every week.
I would start double cleansing at night. I have seen an insane difference since starting that
Avoid manually removing them (yes even those strips are bad), and implement some chemical exfoliants (BHA, I like Paula’s Choice but there are others) into your routine. You apply it once a week, working your way up to 2-3 times a week. Apply it after cleansing/toning and let it absorb. Then you follow it with serums or moisturizer. The exfoliant will gently loosen the gunk so it can be removed.
I would also recommend implementing a double cleansing routine in the evening. Start with an oil cleanser (I like DHC but there are many others, including balms if you prefer that consistency). If you wear face makeup, the oil cleanser will melt it right off, so it’s kind of a 2 for 1 time-wise! Follow your oil cleanser with a gentle cleanser (I have dry combo skin so I like CeraVe cream cleanser).

The Paulas choice BHA is 👌
I can’t get them out, unless I go for a facial, or over-exfoliate. C’est la vie.
I just did this Diamond Glow facial and it exfoliates and extracts your pores and adds serum at the same time. It felt wonderful!
Where did you get that done from?
Rodan and Fields has a great pore cleansing tool. It’s amazing. If you don’t have a friend that sells I’d be happy to hook you up. I give 10% off and free shipping to all my 🐠 customers
I learned about this method of temporarily clearing out sebaceous filaments and it works wonderfully. https://www.google.com/amp/s/fiftyshadesofsnail.com/2015/03/28/how-to-shrink-pores-temporarily-plus-3-pore-myths/amp/
