Any suggestions on cheaper better option for CPA exams? Becker expired and honestly watching lectures and doing homework didn't make me feel I was prepared. Was anyone successful doing just mcqs?

The lectures don't help at all… I read each chapter once and did the corresponding multiple-choice questions. Then just keep doing those multiple-choice questions over and over.

Yes, I did mostly multiple choice questions and simulations. I kept doing practice questions until I got them all correct and I passed the exam this way.

I used the Wiley course first go around and liked it, but if you prepared some for each exam before (depending on your learning style) just the test bank may suffice

I got a free sample trial of ninja and felt like it didn't have enough information to really help but was good for reviewing last minute. Get the free sample!

Instead gonna go with the exam matrix suggestion from reddit. Im also doing MCQs going forward

Wiley just test bank or buy the whole $1800+ course? Also what are the views on Ninja.

Wiley. Or ninja test bank

If you didn't feel prepared from watching lectures and doing homework, what makes you think you'd feel prepared by doing only MCQs (which are essentially the sam as the homework, but less in depth because they don't include SIM practice)?

Got an offer from another Big4 for 10% increase in base, 15% sign on still in audit. I would like to try something new, like advisory but I couldnt get an offer from them. I like some of the people I work with & some of my clients but getting that extra $$ will be good too. Stay or leave?

If anyone is looking for a job working in RSM's tax financial services group that has experience in either Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Venture Capital space send me a message. Please have a resume for me to review and then I can get you setup for an interview. I am based on Los Angeles, but I am not concerned about location, as we need people in this space all throughout the firm. I spent 13 years with the big four before making the move and it was the best decision I have made.
