I almost got out of Pharma... A CD from a Consumer agency doing solid work reached out, and I was so excited thinking I could finally do the kind of work I love. Then they told me they will fill the position with a current employee. I played it cool, but I can’t deny I felt frustrated. How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. All of my agencies have been large, I’ve worked on pharma and a large global account, I also started “managing” at the AE level due to my team’s structure. Is $80k fair? Thanks!

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). I don't know if this is the imposter syndrome talking, but as in house, I feel like I rarely *do* anything. I answer questions as they come up, review maybe 1-2 contracts a day, and manage a few litigation cases (primarily handled by outside counsel). Compared to my 300+ emails from clients a day that I would receive from my large firm job, I feel like I'm missing something? I'm the only attorney at my small company. I don't know if the workload at my previous firm skewed my perception.

Been feeling very low for a very long time. Working with a Big Four for 7+ years (since graduation) and was excited to join consulting as I get easily bored, wanted to grow at an exponential scale and wanted to travel for work. How can I add multiple characteristics within one cell and make sure that a pivot table can read both values independently if needed? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good?
