Favour to ask: I'm building a virtual learning platform to help lawyers overcome some of the barriers we are all experiencing in our legal practices right now in the post coronavirus normal. I would really appreciate your feedback to a short survey (less than three minutes to complete) I've put together as it will help shape how the platform supports our needs in the coming year. And yes, once you complete the survey, you can get beta access to the platform itself. Survey is here: lawtrp.link/launchsurvey Thank
Interviewing with Accenture with a range of $175 -185k for first year Senior Manager. It seems low to travel for 4 days a week. What’s typical for 1st year SMs?
Has anyone had success negotiating a large medical bill with a hospital. I had an emergency room visit, resulting in a bill of which I owe $2k (after payments by insurance). I’m capable of paying, so not expecting to qualify for any programs. Just think the amount owed is outrageous (I.e. $4k for a CT Scan!?) Any tips?
I was supposed to be in a rotational program but seem to be slotted onto a long term risk project. Is the EY name worth that much for exit in a year if what I learn is basically risk related stuff?
Apologies if this was already asked but what is the tuition reimbursement for MBB? Accenture gives you $100k. I heard MBB covers it in full and gives you a reduced salary during those 2 years.
Anyone in Hell’s Kitchen? Just moved in and looking for coffee buddies to to have some breaks during WFH :)
This is a sincere question. What is a good raise percentage wise? I received about a 10% raise and am trying to gauge how good it is given the market and area I am in. For context: just entering my second year, non-bay/LA area in California, public entity work, ~100k first year salary, ~1800 billable requirement. Thanks!
Hello, fishes! I am leaving my current company and headed into industry. I want to learn data analytics, but as a CPA, should I get a masters degree or would a certification in data analytics be good enough? Keep in my mind I still have 30K of student loan debt.
Recommendations for a good credit card to open if I’m planning to have a couple big purchases (planning a wedding) in the next few months? I already have the Chase Sapphire Preferred but not much else.
What can I expect from EY’s case interview? Senior consultant position for Business Transformation. TIA
For anyone in the construction field or construction adjacent field, what is a reasonable salary to expect for an entry level project engineer or assistant project manager in Los Angeles.
Has anyone completed a case study with IBM? How was it? This will be my first! Any tips would be great.
How flexible is Deloitte with the start date because of H1b processing time? I signed the offer mid-may for July 12 because it seemed realistic enough for premium H1b transfer. But the lawyers seem slower than what I was used to and July 12 does not seem likely. Is this going to be a problem?
Following final round Fri night recruiter says feedback was positive and they will “certainly be in touch as soon as possible.” 🐠, what do you make of that? This was after 8 interviews. No word today
