Any suggestions to beat constipation? I workout regularly, drink 2.5 litres of water daily, sleep 8 hours and eat healthy (lots of veggies). It’s a hereditary thing in my family. Not interested in medication. Anything that I can drink at night without harming my body?

Add more fibrous veggies if the current intake is not helping. It worked for me when on Keto.

If it’s just a one off magnesium citrate or epsom salt. You might need to clean out your gut once.

Hi OP

For a natural solution:
chia seeds soaked in water for a few minutes. It has an insane dietary fiber content, and it will feel like a Brillo pad is moving through you. 16-36 hours later. Also is it is easy to travel with, prepare, and has high protein content to add to gains. Be careful though - I’d recommend trying it for the first time over the weekend (Friday night). It can cause a “I need to poop in 10 minutes regardless of if there’s a toilet beneath me”

For a clinical solution:
Constipation could indicate some underlying health issues, some very easily solvable and some more invasive. A quick telehealth check would likely ask the following questions: Would you say you pass gas more often than others (and how deathly are they compared to others?? Do you have bad breath? What color is your poop, and what is its consistency? Is there any history of colon cancer, GERD, cronh’s disease, or ulcerative colitis in your family?

Op, when I get into too much protein I almost always have constipation. So i had to change my food habits. Papaya is a natural laxative. Ripe ones. Try one or two cups of papaya everyday. Also, some other things help me clearing my bowel- Good amount rice everyday. Whenever I have reduced amount of rice I have found its constipated. In addition to these go high on vegetables- squash , spinach, etc. then Fruits.

Papaya worked for me, if not papaya drinking warm or hot water helps, do not drink cold water

like

Eat papaya everyday

Also, okra.

Beets work for me

Has anyone tried the Asian teas/drinks available on Amazon?

I drink them a lot. Don’t think they have laxative properties.

Three ballerina tea on amazon and then Metamucil in the night. Works like a charm!!

Olive oil

Drink 8 oz of warm water after you wake up..

Kombucha should work

I developed GERD from kombucha, so I’d say be careful

Add some hydration tabs to your water as a little electrolyte consumption helps. Ramp up the hydration and it should do wonders.

Thank you all for your inputs. Some great recommendations out there and I will surely try them out.

One tea spoon of olive oil. The linings will clear out.

Few ways to have it
Just one tea spoon
In tea
In hot water and honey

I just started my first fulltime job. It is inhouse and I'm in office. I've been here for a little less then a month now but I still feel like they don't have enough work for me to be full time. I know it will ramp up some but I feel like there is no way it will be enough to fill 40 hours. What do I do?

Need suggestions for how to make cauliflower rice not taste like cauliflower. I love rice, eat it almost once week (significantly cut down from eating it almost every day as a child through college 😅) so switching to cauliflower rice is a challenge since texture and taste wise, I just KNOW it’s not rice. Usually eat it with seasoned chicken and veggies. I like regular cauliflower but for some reason, riced cauliflower has a stronger cauliflower taste for me?
