Any takes on white male consultant odds of HBS/Stanford? (MBB 2-3 years, top GMATs, top undergrad, but didn't found a non-profit, work outside consulting, etc.). From folks I know looks like ~0%.

No but work with people that did, I would say you have a decent chance at Harvard. My next question is how old are you? Harvard likes the younger folks. Average age there is about 2-4 years younger than the rest of the top schools.

Curious to know for: white male, Ivy League or equivalent school, 2-3 years consulting at MBB in the US as only experience, 750-800 GMAT, undergrad GPA 3.7-4.0, has NOT founded a non-profit, etc. Is it no chance for HBS/Stanford? I know about 10 people in that category who applied - no accepts to HBS or Stanford out of the full group.

The only people I know that have gotten into HBS or Stanford from MBB either did some crazy leave of absence to work for a non-profit or went to Harvard, Princeton, or Yale for undergrad and had above a 3.7.

I’m considering getting a nose job, but have recently been wondering how much information I should give my company regarding the time I’ll need off and how and if I’ll even need to address the obvious observation that I got a new nose. I’m in house counsel for a small company and have a pretty good working relationship with everyone at the company, but not good enough to feel comfortable saying I’m getting a nose job.
