It might be a better bet to look in the consulting bowl for referrals!

Thank you!

Unfortunately, not anyone that I know about. Have you tried connecting with people on LinkedIn?

If you can't find a referral here, I would try over on Linked in. I usually have good luck over there! Best of luck to you.

Interviewing for FP&A finance manager role in California, great if folks can advice on compensation and level. I have more than 9 years of experience and masters qualification. What’s the salary and total compensation like for L5, L6 and L7 levels, experience required for these levels? Currently I have 2 juniors reporting into me at a big 4. Will I have team at L6 ?

Joined a B4 from another B4 a year ago, and I average about 70 hours of screen time a week. I don’t log off before 11:30-midnight Monday-thursday, and it’s been this way since I’ve started. My entire team is workaholics and see no issue with this, but when comparing my utilization to my peers mine is 20-40% higher than almost everyone. My “coach” is also my engagement leader. How do I go about raising my hand that I’m beyond burnt out if I don’t feel comfortable going to my “coach”? In FDD btw

Hey, Chi. First time caller.

So I'm considering a switch from law to consulting, and noticed EY has started posting salary ranges for positions. All the mid- to senior-level jobs I'm looking at are in the $95k to $150k range. Is that right? True for all the big 4? Seems super low. I guess I never thought about it before but how exactly do you folks get paid?

Anyone works/heard of DMV Group? Mind if i shoot some questions about them?

I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.

How would you approach asking for more money here? Thanks!

I’m representing a PR in a probate case where an heir is being represented by counsel whose conduct has demonstrated a concerning lack of professionalism. This attorney has missed two deadlines each by several months, used arguments that showed a shocking lack of competence in this area of law, and has even misrepresented the location of estate property. I’m reluctant do it because I would hate have it done to me, but when would it be acceptable to make a report to the bar about this?

Hi Friends,
Me and my girlfriend both live in the same city, working from home, living with our respective families.

Before covid and wfh, we were in gurgaon and we used to go to each other's places to have some "private time"

It looks like a distant luxury now.
Any ideas of what can be done? Anyone facing a similar issue who got any resolution?

Has anyone seen an uptick in fraudulent paperwork ? I work for a single family company with 15k homes in our market and we are seeing so much . Funny thing in they always NSF app/holding fees a few days before or on their move in date and the fraudulent paperwork just follows after . Some we have found they change the fake ID around and use the same picture with different information . It takes so much of my work day catching these fraudsters. What have you done to combat fraud?

Does anyone have experience recruiting statutory 1099 employees? I’ve recently interviewed with a company that recruits non W2 employees and was told I’d have to be comfortable asking questions in the interview that I might normally not be accustomed to asking W2 employees- namely their age, marital status, questions about family makeup and financial stability, etc. I was told that this was acceptable with 1099s. Any insight on this?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. I (female) am the top performing recruiter on my team as a Talent Partner (Recruiter). A new team member joined our team in November 2021 as a Senior Talent Partner. Since he has joined, he's only made 1 hire in 5 months. I've made 11 hires. We're set to the same expectations in our work. The only difference between us is his years of experience and a significantly hire salary. How do I approach the conversation with my company on the pay disparity? I feel so undervalued based on all of this.
