Your handbook will be the best resource. You know everything on there. Just find a lesson that you're strong in. I did main idea and details

See if your school has someone employed who can help you

I haven’t heard many positive things about edtpa

I didn't find it too bad lol. Its tedious but its nothing that you don't know. I definitely think my college did a good job at making it 1000* bigger than what it is.

When I did it I found the handbook plus the book of all the rubrics was the most helpful! You can read exactly what you have to do to obtain a 3/4/5, so I could go through and decide where I could easily get a higher score, and where I could be good with a 3

Is a JD a good move? I am currently a claims analyst for a top brokerage firm in NY. However I also want to attend law school as I think it will grow my career. Is this the right move? My school is a small rural school. We don’t offer many in-house electives. What’s happening is students are having to take whatever is there to fill their schedules. If they aren’t interested in the class, then it becomes an opportunity for disruptions because they aren’t interested. What are some electives you have at your school that are new, innovative and interesting for todays high school students?

We got a move-in 6th grader today. At the end of today (busses gone) I found out that this move-in has an IEP from TX. The students is certified is EI. We have to re evaluate- this will be an expedited eval as we have 21 days left.

Honestly, is this year ever going to end? These evals are killing me! 😣
