Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. He always has this condescending attitude and just keeps telling me that he expects more of someone at my level, C. Is consulting just not a place for people who struggle with mental health (MH)? I know I don’t like my current position but if even if I was doing work I enjoy I think I would still have my current issues being exasperated by related issues with managing multiple projects, not having a clear boss, overall stress, deadlines, project volatility, etc. overall I don’t feel mature/strong enough to work this type of job yet.
