1. Do QB Data Scientists, also have schedules of waking up at 4, reaching the client at 9 and working until 11 PM? How do you even write code when you're sleep deprived ?
2. Do you use MacBooks or do you also use Windows like normal consultants
3. Can people with degrees in Business Analytics actually get into QuantumBlack ?
4. How is the work of a data scientist in tech different? (apart from new projects each 3 months)

When I first interned at age 20, there was a 35 or 36 year old intern right there with me as well. They'd gone to law school and passed the bar in two states and decided to get a masters and intern and switch careers. Thought it was badass then, think it's even more badass now --- go for it!!
Pfizer hired a 70 yr old intern last year, you've definitely got a shot 👷♀️👷♂️👷♀️👷♂️
That pay drop though! 😰

What field?! Data analysis needs support 👋
I was part of McCann’s summer internship program and we had a few 30-45 year old interns. I know at least one is still there. The higher ups are pretty good about recognizing experience, even if it’s not 100% in your department.
Curious to the ex interns who were older: did they get hired FT and if so, presume they skipped the assistant/junior titles? I would hope...
Just an aside, I keep hearing platitudes about agism and hiring Boomers on LinkedIn. I’m not sure what the solve is here. Older people are more expensive. For some roles, it’s worth the cost, but for anything associate to mid level, probably not. Especially ANYTHING digital or social.
I didn’t get into the ad game until my mid-30’s. I’m 10 years older than all of my coworkers but I love what I do.
