I accepted an offer for a design internship at a pretty solid agency, but was offered a full-time junior AD position at an agency I'd prefer to work at right after signing the paperwork for the first place that offered me the internship. What should I do? My internship starts tomorrow and pays less than half of what the junior AD position would pay and will just barely be enough to pay rent. My partner is currently unemployed and I don't know how I'm going to support us both on 14/hr.

I have a young team, between 24-28 years old, mostly women. I’ve had several of them tell me that they think they should be promoted after 6 -12 months in the role. There are some that are amazing and I could see fast-tracking them in 18-24 months, but no idea where this expectation of good performance = immediately promoted. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I just old?

sanity checking an offer from Booz Allen - I have a quant PhD + 5 relevant YOE, secret clearance in hand, and the exact skill set they are hiring for on the team (title is Sr data scientist, associate lvl, SIG). I told the recruiter that I was expecting $170k+, and their offer came in at $150k. My market rsch of peers in the industry indicates $180+ wouldn’t be unreasonable. They said is $155k is best and final, but this is slightly less than current comp at an FFRDC. Just how BAH rolls?
