I have heard it’s an aggressive culture. They are quick to fire if the new hire does not work out, at least for investment roles.
Yeah, that’s what most people are saying on Glassdoor.
From my quant and engineering friends I hear they pay really well but fire people liberally. No idea about business / ops people though.

It is a high paying meat grinder
They are known as Chicago’s “revolving door”. They fire people liberally, the culture is quite intense. Was told to expect it to be as or more intense than MBB.

Certainly “more”
Haha correct. I was quoted a similar figure , 250k base and up to 130% bonus and a bunch of perks type of thing. Kinda not inclined tho given McK is pretty chill too ( but pays half tho)
What level are you on McK author?

McK they reached out through an external recruiting firm. Recruiting firm presented my cv and then rejected. I think they pay a lot of attention to prestige. I was at PwC.

They reached out then rejected my cv for the same role last year. Nice to know the comp though.
Ah , was it after you shared the CV? Seems kinda harsh tho

High comp. Very intense and demanding of high performance. Some people thrive on it and love it there. Others kid themselves that they will be fine or even enjoy it, and then wash out fast.
Dude stop lmao.
Do they pay high for strat / ops roles as well,
Wow for what YOE? Role? I work in a sweatshop currently and happy to leave to another for more pay. Can always return to my current sweatshop lol
