You will have your every possible need catered to *in the office*. Ergo, you will no longer have any reason to leave. Extremely high compensation, extremely aggressive culture, extraordinarily horrific WLB. If you're a super whiz kid looking to make your bones fast, this is a way to do it, but be aware of what you're signing up for.

Would definitely be interested in that place. Hear it’s hard, but comp is excellent

Revisit this if you actually make it in. The pay is high, WLB and stress is terrible, and it is hard to get into. Know that you're joining for the money, not a chill industry exit.

I have a few friends there, sounds like a good place just hard to get into?

Tough culture I’ve heard but amazing on a resume

Depends on the role

Have never seen them hire a consultant for investing role

This is helpful. Is this also true for COO / CFO roles or more on the HF side?

Random question - how is child support decided? What if there is no alimony because the parents were never married and let’s say it is a one night stand. How does a court decide how much child support needs to be paid? Is it negotiable? Not asking for legal advice. Just curious about how the system works.

What would make MBA school worth it to you? On a call now where out of state tuition was $97k… that plus 2 years of lost wages could easily be a $400k price tag. I understand different schools cost different amounts but still wild.

I’m in consulting because in my undergrad business school culture it was either finance (non corporate) or consulting. Industry was seen as failure. I never gave it second thought. Anyone else?

In my early thirties, still an Engagement Manager only making $355k basic, plus benefits and guarenteed minimum bonus of $100k. What did I do wrong? #Satire #DoesAnyoneElseFeelThisTypeOfDiscussionHappensWayToMuchHere? #WhyDoSoManyPeepsNeedValidation? Not trying to put people down, but seems there are far too many people on the hamster wheel just churning and in need of validation. Any thoughts? Am I off base?

MBB folks - what's the AP/Principal salaries at your firm vs Y1 Partner? I've seen some threads where first year partners suggested they make lesser in Y1 than Principal. Curious to hear how big of a difference the two levels are in terms of comp

Im someone with a "business" background (supply chain, procurement) that went to work for as a consultant for tech consulting firm after finishing my MBA, but now having trouble finding a project. Got my PSM 1 cert, but not sure what else to do. Not a technical person, never coded. What would you recommend someone in my position to focus on? I'd like to remain on the project management/BA side of the business. TIA!

I have a phone screen later today with Asana for a business strategy analyst role in SF. I’m currently based in DC making $110k TC. I’m hoping I don’t get asked directly for my expectations, but what would be fair? I’m having a hard time gauging with the COL adjustment that would come with that move. 5 YOE in government consulting with an operations and data focus, if that matters.
