You will have your every possible need catered to *in the office*. Ergo, you will no longer have any reason to leave. Extremely high compensation, extremely aggressive culture, extraordinarily horrific WLB. If you're a super whiz kid looking to make your bones fast, this is a way to do it, but be aware of what you're signing up for.

I have a few friends there, sounds like a good place just hard to get into?

Would definitely be interested in that place. Hear it’s hard, but comp is excellent

Revisit this if you actually make it in. The pay is high, WLB and stress is terrible, and it is hard to get into. Know that you're joining for the money, not a chill industry exit.

This is helpful. Is this also true for COO / CFO roles or more on the HF side?

Curious about this too.

Tough culture I’ve heard but amazing on a resume

Depends on the role

Have never seen them hire a consultant for investing role

Product Design Engineer, interviewing at Apple (Cupertino) and at Meta (Seattle/Redmond). Not at the offer stage yet, but I'm contemplating where I would relocate with family.
No idea about team/culture/stability differences yet.

The non-work factors I'm debating are:
1. Cost-of-living (housing!). Could probably afford a nice ~$1.25M SFH in Seattle suburbs sooner than a fair $1.5-2M near Cupertino.
2. Public School quality. Unsure private will be affordable.
3. Weather/region: activities

When having career discussions (with a HM or your current boss), how has everyone handled job-titles that weren't "Product Manager" but you were performing the functions/role?
