From a creative perspective, you will work on a ton of stuff but have very little to show for it ex. pitch work, tests, social one offs etc. The people are very nice, but the ones on top are quite out of touch with trends and culture. They are trying to be digital first, but very afraid to do anything out of the box and end up repeating/ following trends already out there. Design takes a backseat for everything and the level of craft is mediocre compared to other agencies. Not because of lack of talent, but because of the lack of understanding that it is just as important as strategy and ideas—definitely not a priority with senior level peeps. It is an account driven agency vs. creative driven, which also means that you are hired for an account and may get stuck with it for the king run. The work across all of the brands is pretty much the same i.e comedy but not funny enough, through the trope of a spokesperson. That being said, it is very similar to many agencies you will come across in your career, so there’s still plenty to learn by working here in terms or management, collaboration etc. Working at a a less than ideal place still makes you a better creative.

Great work, but everybody I know that's gone there has said some variation of "people aren't friendly," "very cutthroat," or "well, I can make it work for a year."

I’ve heard it’s a sinking ship right now. Everyone’s looking at other places, even people at the top.

You will get paid. You will also turn into a bro even if you aren’t a bro...you will become “bro like.” Conservative bro to be exact.

Like most places, if you’re working on the big name accounts, it’s an awesome place where you’ll get to work with awesome people.

Do any of you feel like your personality doesn’t fit the mold of an accountant and it makes every day of work awful? I’m rather outgoing and a big picture thinker. I’ve been working in federal tax for 4.5 years. Any advice on what I should do to get my mind right and not miserable anymore?

As an SA. Do my husband and I have to transition 401k from prep employer to the PwC mandatory? How is the return on the investment to rollover in to PwC 401k? Have to take bsp as a part of compliance and not sure if this job is worth changing all our finance allocations at this point?
