Any thoughts on leaving before senior from big 4. Will I be burning a lot of bridges doing so? If I decided to come back later

No bridges to burn....sounds like you haven’t been there long enough to build one

like

It doesn’t burn bridges but it can stunt your progress

like

Lol no. Just be careful that it doesn’t set you back on a promotion schedule.

If you make a lateral switch (I.e. to another public accounting firm) you’ll be fine. Just keep in mind when the new employer typically does their annual promotions.

I was recently laid of from a entry level digital marketing role that I held for a little over a year. My main job duties included supporting account managers with their paid marketing campaigns. Currently I don't have any product experience but I would like to get a product specialist role as soon as possible. Any advice on how to get a product specialist role without any product background?

Hello all
I am a biology graduate. I worked in cancer research and development for more than two years. Recently moved to Canada, and now I'm wanting to transition into clinical research.
Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
I recently got offered a clinical admin position, would this count as clinical exp?
Thanks

Okay I'm absolutely confused:
I recently changed roles and companies. Went from full accounting into a senior/associate investment Analyst role.

I basically went from creating and implementing models with my colleagues and managers.
To now analyzing VC/PE funds and building decks for our investment recommendations.

The thing is i was used to have inputs when needed from my managers for my models. Now I'm in a senior position with not much support for something I haven't done since uni

I failed the non technical assessment for a bootcamp and that was my shot at finally learning with a place that could help me. That really discouraged me and made me feel like I’m just not smart enough to be working in tech at all, let alone as a SWE.

Have been fortunate enough to see large comp/responsibility increases in my early career (~$320K TC, 7-8 YOE) but starting to feel really stuck. Looking to make a move but most opptys are either slightly worse pay or have limited career growth runway.

Finding that low <10 YOE is really holding me back from the truly great opportunities. Anybody else feeling the same thing / have advice?
