Any thoughts on when making a lateral move as a mid-level litigation associate will be feasible again? I want to make a change, but (for obvious reasons) I worry firms may not be looking for any more mouths to feed at this time.

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

Looking for advice on types of roles I should be searching in financial services. I am an expert communicator, both written and verbal (many publications, and pre-consulting/fs career in public speaking), and a great salesperson. After graduating with my MBA with a focus in project management, I moved organizations to go from an EMR education manager to a full time project manager specializing in EMR implementation projects. I’ve found that although I enjoy the work- changing organizations and roles in a remote world was harder than I anticipated. Got an IBM offer. In the offer letter, there are 3 options, Accept, Decline or Query.

The main partner I work for is constantly trying to set “legal traps” to see if I fall into them. For example, he ask me a specific legal question (to which he already knows the answer) to see if I am able to deliver.
