This model Can you elaborate more - is each team representative of a feature on the same platform? Or is this a digital agency and each team is a different client? If it's the latter that doesn't seem like a workable model IMO.

There’s no such thing as a perfect job.

I know there are definitely worse out there so it’s hard to put my foot down and resign, I could just stick it out for a year but am feeling demotivated and too exhausted to do anything else but sleep after hours/weekends. Have you ever started working somewhere and although nothing overtly wrong or terrible about the place / colleagues, it just didn’t feel like the right fit & if so, what did you do?

High performers - what is your dialy routine from time you wake up until you go to sleep? How do you remain highly productive day in and day out?

Interesting bowl.

I've found ways to empower myself and make this more of a tool than liability - on most days.

Looking to exit big4 as a tax manager 1 in nyc. I mentioned to a recruiter im looking for 155k base and was told this is beyond what their clients offer. I thought this was pretty standard but maybe I’m optimistic. What is the standard salary range?

What’s the perception of Lincoln in the IBD space? Are the exit opportunities on par with other MM programs into HF or PE?

What do I put in my resume if I don't have formal education?

I'm currently a jr-mid designer for a good company and have 3 years of experience but now I'm updating my resume and feeling insecure (as I usually have) that I don't have anything to put under Education. I am entirely self taught and have learned through non-certified short courses, UX books, & real world work.

I used to leave that part empty but now it feels weird to enter my experience w/o the education. Any advice?🙏🏽

any graphic designers who have experience in print have a few mins to check my work on something?

Salary research:
Hey fellow designers, I recently saw a tweet that the new hourly rate for designers in US is $200-250hr(screenshot). And more people seem to confirm that:

I think the lack of awareness of how much our peer designers make causes huge gap differences in what we’re paid.

I work full time for a sorta established tech startup in NYC with 100+ employees.
As a sr product designer I made $85k/year (no other monetary bonus)

In my new role I make $127k/year (about $67/hr). Hbu?

Hey product designers! How do you go about gathering technical constraints before starting design work. I find it can be tough when you get into a design review and something isn’t feasible due to some uncovered unknown-known, as they say. Would love to know your techniques.

Hi all - question for current UX’ers in the industry that been working for 5+ yrs.
How is your work life balance? How long do you work everyday? What are the perks you enjoy being a senior? Did you specialize? What would you do differently if given a choice?

I got a full time offer that restrains me from working on any outside projects whether paid or unpaid. I feel a bit uncomfortable with this because I have my own business , while still small, and is considered a side hustle, I don't want to close it off.. but the offer pays well and has a good title. Not sure what to decide!

Classic resume format or modern 2 column resume. And why?

Do any of you have successful side passive incomes?

I see people talk on Tik Tok all the time about selling templates on Etsy or selling journals on Amazon and I always wondered how easy it was to really do that and be successful
