No, sorry - but try Glassdoor!

It's incredibly competitive and it helps to have a mentor or work with a coach who's helped other startups get in there

How do you approach asking senior managers/directors/partners about writing recommendation letters? I'm applying to law school in the fall and I need some. For what it's worth I'm a second year staff at a mid-size firm, have had good reviews the entire time/known as a high-performer in my office, and I've worked directly with everybody I'm planning on asking. However, none of them know that I'm planning on applying.

I’m planning on leaving my job in the next month or so. I already have a few interviews set up, so I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ll eventually tell my boss. Basically, I’ve been incredibly unhappy and desperate for a change as expectations are just unsustainable. I’m worried, because a few people have left my team in the past few months and she seems to take it very personally and becomes pretty passive aggressive. Any advice for how to approach this convo (eventually)?

Genuinely curious, who made M7? I find it really odd that this unofficial term is used so much in applicant circle, do recruiters recognise this? For one even wikipedia doesnt have a page with “M7” unlike Ivy which is a term used by schools officially I talked to a CBS grad director in my firm when applying and he didnt know what M7 was so this has made me think the relevance

Have any of you dealt with crippling feelings of not being “smart enough”. I feel like I’m constantly under evaluating myself and my abilities (at least based on positive feedback I’ve gotten) and it’s keeping me from applying for the jobs that I want but I also don’t want to be that person that thinks they are really smart with nothing to back that up.

I am currently interviewing within the company - want to change my job profile slightly- nothing drastically different. I have got quite a few HR screening calls - about 25% and about 15% of those are turning into actual interviews. So far I have had 4 really good interviews but its nit moving to actual offer. What am I missing or how to make a good interview great to generate an offer? Any tips are most appreciated. TIA.

After you secure an interview (apart from with Tuck and Kellogg) is it safe to say you have passed on the 'credential' elements of the application? In other words is it just the interview that will really drive the decision from there on out? Any insights into how the adcom decides post interview stage would be great. Specifically interested in Wharton but general advice is great too!

I read an article about companies planning to increase remote work even after it’s safe to go back to work. The first question was “How does your company measure productivity?”. Why don’t big 4 consider other was to capture productivity? Utilization is such a huge factor in big4 but capturing productivity within that is a lot harder to measure. Thoughts on big4 moving to a productivity model over hours model?

My upstairs neighbor hit my car and made a big stink about paying for the damages. Turns out her kid (16) hit my car so she didn’t want to go thru insurance because her kid doesn’t have a license.
