Any tips for final interview round?

Why do people boost MBB so much? I feel like you can get interviews at most companies from T2 / Big 4 strategy and could be way more capable. There are lots of much more successful people from non-mbb too. Stop feeding into this narrative

I recently attended an interview with KPMG and cleared the technical rounds. I was promised 11.5 lpa fixed and now after clearing technical rounds they say 11 lpa fixed. The HR was also not ready to negotiate. During the technical rounds, the interviewer was straight forward and said there will be lot of work pressure and appraisal will be once in an year. My YoE is 2.9 years. Is it really worth taking such an offer ? Any suggestions are appreciated

I need some in house opinion here. I’m currently a litigator working to move in house. I wanted some reference for time frame or if I’m being strung along. I applied in mid December, I was contacted early February. Went thru three rounds of interviews and they all went really well. Got into specifics like salary, package, even what office I might work from since they have so many. I’ve been thinking of making a switch from audit to TAS. I’m currently a S1 (2 busy seasons experience), and rated as a top performer at my firm. I’m contacted by Kroll, but recruiters there told me that since I haven’t got any TAS experience, I should be applying for their Analyst role instead of Senior Associate. I am earning 85k/month now. Thinking to purchase a land of around 15L, not just for investment but to build our own house on it in future.
