Any tips for getting into the Forensic/Litigation area? There seems to be a small amount of positions and very little available to apply for.

AM1 - it more of a frustration at this point . I have tried the CPA about 8 times and I have only passed one . That expired abs haven’t been able to pass any .Scores have been really close and still not passed. Tried a lot of tips I have seen around and heard of . It has really affected me , depressed and feeling I’m not smart enough. I really want to try something in forensics, I’m currently studying for the CPE , hopefully it all works out.

Ask for a referral. Not from me, I'm only an intern.

How do my fellow litigators deal with hearings that don’t go so well? Whether you fumble over your words, don’t make all the points you wanted to make, or the judge is annoyed and/or gives a bad ruling, etc. I just had a hearing this morning where the judge granted my motion but only after acting annoyed and coming very close to denying it. Now I am replaying in my head what I could’ve done differently and kind of beating myself up. Does this happen to any anyone else?
