Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk. He likes to come across as a grandfatherly figure, but I’m not sure what to say in these encounters. It is always an innocent, non work related context. Have you guys experienced this ? What is an appropriate response ?
Meta is very straight forward, although it’s draining.
1. Recruiter call.
2a. Optional prep session with Meta designers that give you tips.
2b. A two part day. 45 minute app critique, and a 45 minute portfolio review.
3. Virtual onsite that’s ~4 hours that includes: Portfolio presentation, app critique, whiteboard exercise, and behavioral interview.
No real tips other than take them up on the prep session and practice white boarding exercises. It’s straight forward otherwise.
