Hi , I recently went through all the loop , HR round and final HM catch up for a Senior level role at Meta only to be not offered a role (went to an internal candidate). Recruiter was very sympathetic and offered to introduce to any other open roles I am interested in. Should I take him up on it ? I see 2 open roles very similar to the ones I interviewed for. Recruiter had no negative feedback from the teams . Has this worked out for anyone ?

Need some suggestions. I gave interview on Tuesday, will it be right to ask feedback tomorrow or should I wait till the end of week and then ask for feedback on Monday Morning. Today, I didn't got any response from them.

My colleague, who was associated with Willis Towers Watson as a Insurance Process Executive (Non IT), recently gave interview for Accenture as a BA and cleared the interview.
She has no prior experience in IT but has strong process knowledge regarding UK and Australia General Insurance and excellent communication skills.

Would she be able to handle the role of a BA is her Q.
I have been training her on what BA does and how documents are created and she is a quick learner.

Job sharing in professional services is becoming more common. Would it make sense to offer job sharing at the partner level? Benefits a) employee retention (including women 30+ that often choose family over Partner track), b) more available Partner spots which increases retention, c) work life balance, d) 2 vs 1 partner tapping into their network to sell, e) 50% comp but ideally 6 months off. I was sent an online test link by Deloitte (Deloitte via Otomeyt). All of my friends at Deloitte USI are telling me that there are only face2face interviews and no one has ever given an online test. Can anyone confirm? I am not sure if it is from Deloitte India or Deloitte USI.

Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk. He likes to come across as a grandfatherly figure, but I’m not sure what to say in these encounters. It is always an innocent, non work related context. Have you guys experienced this ? I am in the interview process for a full-time job. I had a great initial interview and am scheduled for a second— I think I have a good shot at getting it. I was also just offered an exciting contract that would be full time through June. It is not CtFT. I’d love to take it, but I don’t want to jeopardize the other position. Should I say no to the contract and just keep my fingers crossed regarding the other job? Should I discuss it with the company?

I’m working as a graphic designer right now as I failed to get into an extension from my UX UI intern and get an entry job. I am planning to take spring board UX bootcamp this coming month to improve my skills. Is there a “closer” job position I can apply for in order to get closer or get experience to get into UX?

I did a program of 8 months in Graphic & Web design, where I learn all the basics, and two months later, I was able to find work as a junior graphic designer for 3D trophies. Love the work I do, but I still want to improve my skills and polish my portfolio to eventually find extra work. What should I do and where should I go to practice/improve my design & web skills with someone who can give me some feedback?

When you get stuck on a design or when you are starting a big project, what are your creative processes? Do you look at colors? inspiration? Pen and paper? Illustrate something? Want to work with my designer on a toolbox of steps to pick from to find what works best for their individual creative process? I know my creative process is look at inspiration, pen and paper, then start designing, but I don’t want to assume that’s theirs too.
