Any tips on how to break into UX design/Product? I got an offer for a tech company for an Implementation Consultant role. I will be client-facing and helping to implement their specific needs into the SaaS platform + some data integration elements. They mentioned others have moved into Product/UX/Sales from this role.

However, do others more familiar in the UX/Product space think this is a good move? Currently, I am doing Compliance at an financial institution, so I don’t see a clear path.

When am currently at $150k, is it too much to ask for 30% increase if the role is based in NYC (Private Equity firm). My current job location is in CT.
