Do you run for improvement or relaxation? I’m training for some specific goals at the moment so have some good hard drills but they’re certainly not enjoyable!!!
I enjoy the benefits of distance running.... but not the act of running.
I’m planning to train for my 3 marathon in 2019 after taking a few years off, but can’t find the motivation.
Podcasts & Audible got me through my long runs in the past & made them more enjoyable. I’m just starting up again after a years-long break, originally due to an IT Band injury. Right now, my runs are so short it doesn’t matter, & the only enjoyable bit is the fact that I did it & my knees don’t hurt.
