Any tips on how to enjoy running? I use to run with friends, but since moving I haven’t been able to get myself to join a new run club. Any book or something related mindfulness through running?

Do you run for improvement or relaxation? I’m training for some specific goals at the moment so have some good hard drills but they’re certainly not enjoyable!!!

I enjoy the benefits of distance running.... but not the act of running.
I’m planning to train for my 3 marathon in 2019 after taking a few years off, but can’t find the motivation.

Podcasts & Audible got me through my long runs in the past & made them more enjoyable. I’m just starting up again after a years-long break, originally due to an IT Band injury. Right now, my runs are so short it doesn’t matter, & the only enjoyable bit is the fact that I did it & my knees don’t hurt.

Is it a sign to not leave yet if I’m hesitant to leave big law despite receiving offers at good companies? I am a junior associate that’s really burned out and yet I fear making the leap because of “missing” people I’ve worked with (who probably won’t remember me much) and all the hopes I had for myself when I first summered. But I also know this job has been extremely tough on my health and my family and I regretted it the first time I turned down an offer.

Pregnant with my first, due 3rd week of April. My husband has an optional work trip in February for a few days, and asked if I was comfortable with him going. How do you approach the initial conversation with your doctor? I have taken a variety of both anti anxiety and anti depressants. Nothing works. I’ve been reading online and in this bowl, and a lot of ADHD symptoms really resonate with me. They have for a long time, frankly, but I couldn’t get my former provider to take me seriously when I was in college/law school. Sleep training my 32 yr old self: I am a side sleeper and trying to become a back sleeper as I have started developing major wrinkles on the side of my face that I sleep on. I have a plush mattress so I got a relatively firm mattress topper and try to push myself to sleep on the back but I wake up on my back. Any suggestions/tips for how to do this?

I am 34.5 and have been TTC for 1.5 years. Failed one cycle of timed intercourse and one natural cycle IUI. At this point, considering IVF- there were no major issues when got tested by RE. Had a microadenoma and have been on medication since. Husband’s count and motility came back normal but morphology was a bit low. RE said low morphology does not matter much. Any advice before going to IVF? Thank you in advance

Lazy summer and lots of regression in strength. For lower body, noticeably more loss in my squat than deadlift. Is this indicative of deterioration in a specific muscle that I should focus on rebuild?

Hi all,

I am currently working in big4 audit as a manager (20 LPA CTC), my wife is in a tax role in diff big 4, same CTC.

We have a Canada PR but are not getting jobs from here so will have to go there and apply. Average salary will be around CAD 80000-85000.

I have a job offer in NZ for 85000 NZD. My wife will be able to work, but will have to go there and find a job.

We are confused what to do, as she feels it will be harder to get a tax job in NZ. Looking for any advice.

I’m getting more muscle definition (arms, abs, legs) but my measurements stay the same. I eat healthy, record my diet and workout 3-4 times a week. What did I do wrong? 😭

I’ve done dry January and a lot of weight melted off. I was already shooting to keep it going through to March. For super lean people (borderline Instagram models), do you still drink alcohol after your 20s? I remember a male stripper in Vegas told me he only drank a shot of vodka once a year 😂 and that was the extent of his drinking, but he looked great.
