Any tips on how to heal Tennis Elbow? My workouts are focused on Olympic style/body building lifts. I took two weeks off but the pain is still there. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Following as well. I recently hurt my elbow while playing badminton. Haven’t played for the last 4 weeks.

It’s mostly fine but if I try to mimic the racquet movement, it hurts a bit

If it’s something that may need surgery later, don’t do a steroid shot. If you think it’s overall more minor in nature, get a steroid shot.

I tried everything to cure my tennis elbow, exercise on my own, physical therapy and even dry needling ( which was pretty awful). Nothing worked. I caved in and got the injection and it hasn't bothered me since and that was 4 years ago. It doesn't work for everyone but it did for me.

Yes, sorry. I should have said that. I was so against it because I hate needles and so many people I know have gotten cortisone shots other places in their body and it didn't work. I guess I got lucky.

28M, 5’11, 230lb. Is 2000 calories supposed to be enough to not be hungry but also lose weight? MFP suggested between 1800 and 2400 depending on how much exercise I get, but on a sedentary day like today, I’ve been hungry most of the day on 1800 cal.

I am having a missed miscarriage. Last night I felt something slide out of me which looks like a blood clot and/or tissue with something clear and round like (I think the embryo at 6 weeks). Ever since then my cramps have been getting worse and I feel like I’m having contractions today (sharp cramps coming and going every 15-20 minutes). Is this normal? Is more stuff trying to come out?

Granddaughter just accepted her first position in education as a para II. She supports one student but when that student is absent, she asked to help others. I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

I came back from a 6 mo leave and have been on the bench for 3. Utilization is SO shot, networks have gone cold, and anxiety/depression are keeping me up all night, & sleepy during the day.

Whew this group is a relief to find. No one at my job knows I have ADHD, and I only have one other friend with it. I manage a team of people and the stress of checking, double checking, and triple-checking everything to make sure I'm not forgetting anything or behind on anything is insane. I've kind of got the hang of keeping focus during work hours, but I'm just constantly on edge that someone will notice or I'll start falling behind.

Hello everyone! I’m working my first AP job at entry level and of course, I process all of the checks that come through, including the invoices for my temp hire company. I only have about 60 hours left on my contract with them and after proving I can be a great asset to this company, I’m wondering how to negotiate salary from this point. Don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but felt the need to say: life is so fleeting. We spend so much time focusing on the day to day and hour to hour that we forget that it could all be over for us in a second.
I’ve lost 3 of my coworkers in the past 2 weeks. I’ve never seen any of them in person but I feel a hole in my heart as if I lost three close family members. Hug your loved ones tight and tell your coworkers who made an impact on you that they matter.

So I most recently had double inguinal hernia surgery (5 days ago, on July 1st). I'm 5'8" at around 170 pounds, with 9.6% body fat. I weight trained almost every day before the initial diagnosis.

While I believe I am progressing well, there is a depression that exists because I can't weight train or do much of any cardio until the end of August, in that 6-8 week span of healing.

It was my first injury and I have been playing sports/been active my entire life. Can anyone relate to this?

I want to lose 20 pounds (M 165). I put together a diet that has me at 3500 calorie deficit per week for roughly 1 pound per week loss. On top of this I am going to the gym twice per week for heavy lifting + 10 min cardio. Do you think I will see results with going to the gym twice a week? It’s hard for me to find time to go more often but I want to tone up while also doing my cut. I am going to try to also incorporate yoga twice a week into this. Thanks!

For the last two months I’ve been having a hard time falling and staying asleep. At first I thought it was from lack of physical activity, but now I’m getting at least an hour of exercise in the morning and still can’t fall asleep. When I do fall asleep, I’m usually up after 4 hours. I take melatonin and that used to help. Maybe it’s time I go see a doctor?
