They have been much less useful since the end of Starwood and even less since COVID took away assigned ambassadors. At this point basically they’re just higher level customer service people — if you need to cancel a reservation outside the window or whatever, they can help with that. Don’t expect much more.

Getting unpublished deals? Not sense the days of Starwood. Very, very hot or miss on value. They can get you an upgrade or a welcome amenity or something similar.
