My practice is currently a mix of med mal and employment defense. I would really love to GC a hospital or at least supervise their litigation. Hoping this experience is sufficient.
This depends on the type of hospital - my friend works at one and I believe most are looking for day to day operations counsel or those with experience in fraud and abuse law.

This is the case from my experience. I’m a healthcare regulatory/transactional associate who interned in house at a hospital during law school for two semesters and now I work with various hospital systems. Everyone I know who went in house at a hospital/healthcare group were transactional/regulatory, not personal injury or malpractice.
