I wrote my resume up to reflect all the product work I have done - feel free to DM. Interviewing at small startups and Google!

Hello Sir. Can you please drop a DM. My DM feature is inactive yet Thanks a lot

There are different types of product manager roles - understand which profile your background best addresses and target those. Consulting experience typically does not apply across all of them so understanding where your experience fits will help you get a better hit rate

Hey folks, Help me choose Swiggy as Sr SDET or Amazon as QAE-1. Compensation is almost same, so do not want to consider that as decision factor. But based on other factors like position offered, wlb and learning opportunities It would help if you could support your answers with some points.

So I’m planning to apply for MS fall 2023 intake and I found an educational consultant who gives free admission services and are doing so this year due to the pandemic. I had registered with them but they’re yet to start their services. I’m now thinking of hiring a bigger consultant for few of my target schools as I’m sceptical if this one is enough. Thoughts?

Hi Fishes, I have received an offer of 28 LPA for Lead I - Software Developer position at UST Global. I would be joining Bangalore location. I am Appian Developer with 6 years of experience. Since I did not get to interact with any UST employees (other than HR) during the interview process, could anyone tell me more about the company and its culture? PS: Would like to connect with Appian professionals working there, if possible.

Was laid off in April by midsize and have had few interviews in following months. Working with various recruiters yet still no traction. Didn’t go to top tier law school and graduated with 3.2 gpa yet have 3 years experience and being lawyer was 2nd career.  Recently working with a boutique for per diem work who gave offer which is a lot lower than prior role (over $40k). Role would have no billables and practically 50% split—what are your thoughts?

For those who moved from agency to client side - I'm considering a client side director media role. I'm currently a VP group director on the agency side. In terms of title/level is this a move down, lateral or up? Understand it's a different type of experience but want to understand if people consider this a "step back".

I just recently made manager at EY (this month) and a recruiter has reached out to me regarding an associate role at Kearney. When I asked about a manager role they mentioned that I hadn’t been a manager long enough to qualify me for that role. Is it fair to have to drop in rank when making the transition from Big4 to somewhere like Kearney? Also what’s Kearney like as place to work at?

What do you all do to make non-professional / personal connections? Particularly with the Coronavirus, and being in domestic relations, I wake up, go to work, work out, go home. So outside of law, my interactions with people are only at the gym given that my area is draining— particularly at the moment. Probably a good thing for now; but if we take coronavirus out of the equation, I’m interested what others in the community do to develop personal connections.

I'm going to be going to MBB over the summer as an intern. I'm also very interested in investing and buy side roles - what are the options I could look at for full time coming from my MBB internship?

Has anyone submitted grad school applications while working in tech sales? Or have any managers here managed employees who’ve gone through this process? I know in roles like finance and consulting, grad or business school is part of the next step in employees’ careers so employers are supportive. I’m not sure it’s the same for tech roles. Salary is 140k no bonus but 150k of stock options. Options 2 is safer but I’m conflicted
