Any tips on moving from the private sector into the US Attorney’s office? For reference I’m a second year associate in an insurance coverage group, with about 45% of my practice in federal court. Is it too early to think about making the jump?

I was thinking about looking for a side gig that can be done from home and have read about medical transcribing. Has anyone here tried that and know whether completing the courses is worth it? Is it easy to find work once you get certified?

I recently graduated with a bachelors in finance, and have recently got hired (5 months ago) as a financial analyst. Realistically I do FP&A for a company. I am so conflicted and not sure what to do. A company I wanted to work for was not ready for hire when I first reached out in Sept. I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.
