Spend a little extra to make your place feel comfortable. I like to have candles and music or tv on just to not hear the silence all the time

I buy myself flowers every week (from Trader Joe’s for less than $10), it’s a small thing that adds color/life to my place and makes me happy!

Oh need to implement this!

Plants that you love! I’m not a plant person, but they are refreshing and give you something to take care of. Also a yoga mat, and find a place where you can exercise daily, even if it’s only for 15 minutes. And not a purchase, but I find I do best living alone when I’m very diligent about scheduling virtual meet ups with friends before the week starts.

You know what F all those people who say “Why are we wearing masks at work? This sucks!” I am happy we have to, that way I don’t have to smell your disgusting breath in morning or after your lunch. If you have good oral hygiene and don’t want to wear a mask I am cool with you guys/gals. If not, put on a mask to save a life. If your COVID won’t kill us, your bad breath definitely will.

I was never a perfume person, but recently decided I want to be. We don’t go anywhere notable with COVID around, so I just wear it around the house in my lounge outfits (aka uniform of the past two years). Still perks me up though! I’m curious 🐠, what are your go-to scents?? I’m obsessed with Prada Candy Night.

Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. I still feel hopeful that God will bless me with the knowledge on how to effectively impact each one of those kids. Let's remember to keep all educators lifted in prayer this year. Have a wonderful school year!! God Bless All❤️

I got sick with what I at first thought was stomach bug last Sunday (vomiting, fatigue, then crazy chills and body aches). Lasted 1 day. My nose was also a bit congested, so went to get a pcr on Monday and got a positive result. Tested again at 2 diff places on Wed - 2 negatives. All pcr. Had no symptoms since Sunday. Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Was it just false positive (everyone’s been saying that almost never happens), or just super mild case of Covid?

May be joining the “SO and I broke up during COVID” club. We’ve been together 5 years. It’s always been rocky because we’re such strong personalities but lately it’s just been getting more and more difficult. We’re at the point where we really need to decide whether it’s just better to part ways. We had a really dumb fight last night but it feels like it may be the one that breaks the camels back. Literally any tips would be appreciated— trying to pull myself together to get through work
