Any truth to this?

It’s preprint, so not out yet/validated. Virology buddy said something about this being super misleading bc the viral load is at the same rate for vaccinated and Unvaccinated initially but drops almost immediately precipitously thereafter for vaccinated people.

Have not read it but hard to know for sure at this point. Healthcare workers should be masking, etc, too and at the very least everyone needs to vax to minimize risk of serious illness

like

The study says 251 times the viral load compared to the early variants of covid.

It does not compare vax to non-vax directly

like

Much better, thanks cd1!

Fauci himself has admitted that vaccinated people have the same viral load as unvaccinated (this is specific to delta, not the original). Many have less symptoms and some don’t even notice they’re sick, so logic would say they’re probably out spreading it more than unvaxxed. I don’t actually think there’s been anything peer reviewed published that says vaccinated carry more. So, answer is - idk yet.

like

Well given that many COVID positive people have no idea they have it…

I'm sick sick sick of anti-vaxxers

likefunny

Nope. No truth in that headline at all

Just asking an honest question. People need to Chill out…

Feel like there’s a correlation between anti-vax and inability/unwillingness to crop a screen shot.

Not an anti-vaxer, genuinely curious.
