Had a tundra, downgraded to a Tacoma. Tundra was great minus the abysmal gas mileage (relative to ram/Silverado/f150) and it was just an absolute tank.
Realized I didn’t need all the space, had rarely used the “full” capability of it all, and that anything I needed to tow or haul can probably be taken care of by a Tacoma.

The GX is awesome, it balances modularity, luxury & function very well. If you like the tundra go for it, the new ones increased gas mileage substantially and is much closer to its competitors.
After buying a house I’ll always have a truck, I’ve used it so many times; so if you have a truck itch I wouldn’t get an suv to scratch that.
Idk about their reliability but Nissan did a great job on the new titan 🤷♂️

I didn't have a Rebel, but I had a '19 Longhorn and loved it. Had to upgrade to a 3 row, otherwise I'd be driving around in a '22 Longhorn now.
The only downside was that I'd stupidly gotten the 3.6 in search of better fuel economy and it was outmatched by the heft of the vehicle. Acceleration was fine, but lifetime mpg over ~3.5 years was in the 17.5mpg range and I drive with a pretty light foot. Everything else was great!
The longhorn is pretty nice as well, the only thing that attracts me to the rebel is the sporty look and based on my research, the suspension should give you one of the smoothest drives. But darn it a Q7 and a tundra or a rebel in one household, I’ll pretty much need to live by a gas station
Strange comparison
Why is that
