I can tell you if you did find someone and the experience is anything like the U.S. experience you’d never get them in the door. They have botched every single step of the process. Interviews, offer, background check, start date, laptop. They even sent the sign on bonus by mistake. I don’t start for a month. I’m hoping they pay me by mistake too. 😂 I’ve never been so on the fence about saying you know what, I’m good where I’m at. Even at 30% less pay.

Is anyone living on different floors with ~1 year old? Does it work, PROs, CONs? Our master bedroom is upstairs. There are two bedrooms downstairs so I always thought we’d use one of those rooms as our bedroom so we’re on the same floor with baby but it seems husband wants to stay upstairs. And he’s using one of the rooms downstairs as a home office. We bought this house so cannot move in the short term.

What is normal/to be expected? In NYC area if that matters

Last Spring I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. When I was diagnosed, I think I had had it for several years. My doctor put me on a diabetes med (my A1C was 10.2 and my blood sugar was 270). I knew I didn’t want to deal with the adverse effects of this disease, so I made some drastic dietary changes, started exercising, and brought my blood sugar down. I am now back in the pre-diabetic range, and I got off my diabetes meds. I lost 40 lbs. and feel great! Take care of yourselves! It’s important
