I quit my job at a bank call center (MF dealer) didn’t give out a 2 weeks. I’m finishing up my licenses and school starts in 2 weeks. I’m 22 with 3 years of banking experience, 1.5 years of investment associate experience. Do you think that leaving without giving a notice will follow me in the future? It’s a call center, and I was not able to control my schedule so we always got it 2-3 weeks in advance but couldn’t plan ahead. Will school/scheduling be a good excuse if my next employer asks?

Looking for some advice on buying a home (first time)
I am 27 y/o earning $130k/yr as a contract worker, current rent is $450/mo for a very desirable location and house. I'm in no rush to move.
But I'm curious about the wealth creation possible buying a house and renting rooms. Between appreciation and collecting rent, does it make more sense to buy a house near my approval limit ($600k or $3800/mo) and collect $3000/mo in rent ... or continue renting for LCOL and invest?

EY should have to give promotion to their staaf 4 to senior 1 whose experience is more than 6. 5 years... Otherwise this group will contribute more to EY attrition after compensation annoncement... This is my calculated guess

I joined EY in the mid of October. I didn’t get any email to update the bank details in greytHR portal.If I try to access it, it throws than error that I don’t access to login .But, I have updated on success factor portal.

Will I receive the salary this month? Or do we need to specifically update in greytHR portal only then salary will be processed?

Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.
