I was laid off a while ago and my 60 day clock is running. This was my first job. I have very little experience dealing with this visa issues. What happens to my H1B if I get a 6-8 month contracting job? Does it get extended? Does the 60 day count go on,m or stop and reset?
Do I need to file for a new H1B or new visa type?
Help please.
