How much do your account people talk in a client meeting? I just had a client meeting and their feedback was so confusing and contradicting, but I was the only one talking… both account manager and group account director stayed silent…! I recently joined this agency as CD and am curious how much other account people talk during meetings and if they back up / protect creatives or the agency when things go south in client meetings.
Why is it so hard to follow advice that you'd clearly give to someone else? Found what I think could be a dream job, but I'm worried about leaving my team in the middle of this project. And also about leaving before reviews after pounding the table about promotion.
Client: “We need someone to sit on-site one day a week at our office in New Jersey” Team: shows up on designated day, no clients to be found Client: “we aren’t on site today” 🤦🏼♀️🙃
Question: I had a bad review from a senior manager complaining about my attention to details. It’s never my strong suit. Is that a detrimental thing in public accounting and in tax? I heard good things from other managers about my project management skills (under budget and ahead of time). I also have ability to make friends across the firm and in IRS. So, how bad is it? If attention to details is absolutely needed in public accounting, what can I do as an alternative?
Have been on bench for a while and finally got a project. Issue is short notice now have to file an amendment and law team needs 3 weeks advance notice - any advice on what to do?

I’ve recently been offered a move to the UAE from the U.K. with my company and wanted to ask if anyone has any intel on salaries for proposal coordinators or proposal managers in Dubai, or what to expect in expat packages. For context I am degree qualified (architecture), have Project Management experience and 2.5 years in sales and my career spans just over 7 years.
I received my Masters degree in Digital Marketing a year ago. Why is it hard to find a company who is willing to hire me? Am the only one going through this? I have started my own company and have one small client. I find other ways to make an income every month. I have other streams of income. Is the market that saturated with digital marketing experts? Or am I just not qualified for these positions?

I’m going to say this, Deloitte is not the place for data engineering or data science, they are wannabes. You want to learn? Please join the smaller shops that do this work. Deloitte brand is good but you will have no growth in this space. Any other type of consulting then yes to Deloitte

I’m cutting something and it’s just not that good (how it was shot etc). I’m doing my best and client actually seems happy - it’s just getting harder and harder to fake what I really think about it.
