Hi everyone, I have an hr discussion with Siemens on Monday. With current CTC 9.1 LPA, can I ask for 20 lpa fixed component(I'll be joining within 30 days) will there be any joining bonus. If yes, will hr inform me or should I ask about it explicitly. What do MBA grads do at tech firms? The data on any B-School's website says that consulting pays more than tech to MBA grads, however, going by the threads on this app, it seems as if tech pays more. Does the website data not include RSUs? Or does consulting actually pay more? Thanks a lot for your time and effort!
Looking for an attorney recommendation for wills / medical directives in NOVA. Thank you!
Can someone share about the culture at BCG and/or Bain in Australia. Contemplating a move at Principal/AP and would also like to understand if recruitment is happening at these levels. Thanks

Is Ronna McDaniel (GOP Chairwoman) on the same good stuff that Don JR. And Kimberly are on? This is hilarious: “Joe Biden can’t run from his disastrous record responding to the coronavirus.”. Ha ha ha ha ... ha ha ha ha. These people!
I’m a current intern (extended from summer) whose signed an offer, then got an offer from another firm (so going midsize to Big 4), how do I go about telling them and can i break a contract like that?
Interviewed at Big 4. Never discussed compensation, however when i filled out the online app I put a high but ‘safe’ number. They extended an offer with my original amount,is it too late to negotiate?
Anyone taking the CISA tomorrow?
Some people think CPA is just a title and not worth the effort. Is the Coronavirus going to impact folks without a CPA license now that companies are laying off employees? Curious to see your thoughts
Ladies, I’ve noticed (pre-covid) that when men introduced each other or even when they enter the room they always shake hands with each other - even if they’ve known them/worked with them for months. But for myself, I may get a handshake on first day but never again. And I find it annoying like do you not think of me as your equal or do you think because I’m a woman I want a hug?? Has anyone else noticed this, or am I taking this the wrong way?
Has anyone here ever left a big 4 graduate scheme early? Were there negative consequences? How was it perceived ? Looking to go into something very different, as big corporate life is not for me..
Do you think I could expense a weekly meal delivery service (it’s precooked - just have to microwave it) during busy season? Would be delivered to the office and is cheaper than ordering in.
From BA to Consulting... Is it a hard transition from BA to Consulting? I have about 10 years of Business Analyst/ PM and an MBA from a Non top 20 school... what is the best approach?
Excluding the depression/recession we’re currently in, how many applications do you typically send out before getting an interview? I’m at 47 right now with no interviews and I’m beginning to lose my patience
I went through a pretty rigorous interview process for a marketing project manager but ultimately wasn't given job. Though most of the feedback was positive, the other candidate had more direct experience with the job responsibilities (digital assets, social media, etc.) My job/company dabbles in digital but it's primarily traditional media. How do I again the experience if I'm limited by the type of work we do?
