Hello! Is anyone working at Spotify or HubSpot within product/project management that would be willing to connect for a virtual coffee chat?
I’m a recent grad and currently working in tech/product development. I have been interested in growing my career at either of these companies and would be grateful to gain insight on day-to-day and steps you took to successfully break in.
I know this might be a big ask here, but it’s been difficult trying to land one on LinkedIn. Thanks in advance

What is your scope and charge? Why did they hire you? At some companies, strategy is the special projects team. At others, the strategy team handles broad enterprise strategy. At yet others, the strategy team is basically finance planning & analysis under the CFO. What is it at your company? Can you influence what the why is for you?
Don't worry about a consulting firm. Consulting projects are narrow and deep, whereas in house strategy roles are more likely to be broad and shallow. They probably could benefit from consulting, but it isn't a threat to the broader scope of your role, unless strategy to your company means special projects team. Even in that case, this one consulting project wouldn't be your whole job, just one part.
