Hello all, Me and my wife both are on H1Bs. My i140 has been approved on eb2 with priority date in 2018. Since it’s possible for my her to work on H4-EAD, we are considering to change her to h4 as dependent so that whenever time comes for getting GC (which really seems very far away), she can also get it as dependent. Am I thinking it correctly or she should continue on h1 since her renewal is coming up soon. I am sure there would be other fishes in this similar bowl :) TIA

Fish with both valid H-1B and combo cards, did you stay working on H-1B until your 485 is approved or did you switch to combo? Know there are benefits and costs to each option and curious to what why you made the decision

Currently filling DS 160. My parents are currently in US on B2 and will go back in July. When I go for my H1 stamping, they will not be in US. Should I answer the question on whether they are in US based on where they will be when I go for stamping or where they are when I am filling the DS 160?
