I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!

How to get over imposter syndrome? Came from consulting and moved into a program manager role and I’m the first hire in this role and have the potential to build out a team and make lasting impact. Its week 1 and I feel like I’m in way over my head! How do you shake this feeling? Partners and future partners, if you made the salary you are currently making annually, and through increasing client fees and gaining efficiencies through technology, nobody worked more than 40 hours a week, would you be ok with that or would you think you are leaving money on the table and would want to get more and increase hours to 45-50? My main question is if we could achieve 40 hour weeks would you be satisfied or will you want to get hours up to what you’re used to?
