Can anybody suggest any books or resources to get smart on medical device marketing and/or medical device manufacturing?
Am I crazy for thinking being a mom is harder than working in biglaw? I’m a mid level associate and FTM currently on maternity leave and the amount of sleeplessness over the past few weeks have convinced me my job is a piece of cake in comparison. I’m so overwhelmed.
Has anyone made the exit to product management either at FAANG or unicorn startup? How were you able to successfully make the leap? Any watch outs or specific pieces of advice? For reference, I am a post-MBA EM looking to make the jump and starting to prep for interviews

What are some of the best books you’ve read about people and investing? Such as dealing with people (business psychology almost) and then investing (real estate more specifically)! I am looking for books that give practical advice, not just big picture theory and motivation.
How do you respond to pushy HR people/ recruiters who ask your salary req in the first 5 mins?
Do you indent on MBA essays (HSW) or no indent? Any suggestions? Also what about font size, spacing, etc.? Thanks!
I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
I don’t have a degree but consulting experience at Big 4. I learned you can get a bachelor degree in wine tasting, do you think it would still be accepted as a regular bachelor degree for future jobs?

Are you all utilizing more retention bonuses to try to help control attrition? Trying to get a sense of it’s been a successful tactic for your organization or if you’re doing anything else to reduce regrettable exits.
Hi all, I really need some advice here, I have the feeling our company has gone a bit overboard in uploading policies. When someone starts, they have 30+ policies to read. I am a bit flustered and looking in other ways to reduce the number of documents to read, but still want everyone to be informed. Any suggestions/tips?
How to get over imposter syndrome? Came from consulting and moved into a program manager role and I’m the first hire in this role and have the potential to build out a team and make lasting impact. Its week 1 and I feel like I’m in way over my head! How do you shake this feeling? I know I can do the job but I am sometimes my own worst enemy when it comes to pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Hubs has been helpful in hyping me up but I still feel so imposter-y.
I’m going to Las Vegas during memorial weekend. Staying at Caesars Palace with 3 other guys all in our 20s. Any recommendations or things we must do/eat? Thanks!

Partners and future partners, if you made the salary you are currently making annually, and through increasing client fees and gaining efficiencies through technology, nobody worked more than 40 hours a week, would you be ok with that or would you think you are leaving money on the table and would want to get more and increase hours to 45-50? My main question is if we could achieve 40 hour weeks would you be satisfied or will you want to get hours up to what you’re used to?
